Colour Cosmetics, Makeup, Skincare & Private-Label Sourcing

Source colour cosmetics, makeup and skincare across eye, face and lip ranges, cleansing products, cosmetic pencils and gift sets. Define the shade story, formula, fill, applicator, package, testing and destination documents for each article.

  • Plan the full eye, face, lip and skincare assortment with distinct article specifications.
  • Coordinate shades, finish, applicators and packaging through sample approval.
  • Request product-specific ingredients, tests and documents before making claims.

Manufacturing, product documents and order conditions depend on the model and supply route selected for your project.

Build the range
your buyers need.

Choose a focused product or discuss a coordinated assortment. Each direction can be developed into a more specific model and packaging brief.

Eyeshadow palettes and eye-colour formats

Compare focused and larger palettes with matte, pearl, shimmer and glitter directions. Reference colour counts include 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 21; confirm the shade map, pan fill and eye-area formulation for each article.

Enquire about this range ↗

Eye primer

Develop an eye-base brief around texture, finish and compatibility with the intended colour products. Confirm application instructions, ingredients, net contents and claims on the actual formulation.

Enquire about this range ↗

Brow pencils and brow colour

Compare wood-cased pencils, brow-colour formats and brush presentation. Specify shade, point or applicator, texture and intended use; confirm the formula and evidence for wear or water resistance.

Enquire about this range ↗

Eyeliner and liquid liner

Discuss pencil and liquid formats, black and brown directions, line width, applicator and packaging. Agree drying, removal and wear criteria with the sample rather than treating a product title as test evidence.

Enquire about this range ↗

Mascara

Plan the brush, tube, colour, desired appearance and removal routine. Confirm fill, formula and applicator compatibility; length, volume, water-resistance or wear claims need supporting evidence for the chosen item.

Enquire about this range ↗

Blush in powder, cream and liquid directions

Compare powder, cream, liquid and brush-head formats, from a single shade to coordinated palettes. Approve undertone, finish, texture, pan or container and application behaviour together.

Enquire about this range ↗

Bronzer and contour

Develop matte or other selected contour and bronzer directions with suitable shade depth and undertone. Contouring describes a makeup effect; no physical slimming or treatment result is implied.

Enquire about this range ↗

Concealer

Define the coverage appearance, shade, format and package for a concealer brief. Confirm actual formula, net contents, compatibility and intended application instructions before quotation.

Enquire about this range ↗

Liquid and powder foundation

Compare liquid foundation, pressed-powder foundation and foundation-cake directions. Agree shade standards across the range, finish, fill and packaging; no universal skin-tone or skin-type suitability is assumed.

Enquire about this range ↗

Highlighter

Explore powder, stick and other selected highlight directions. Specify the visual effect, shade, application area and packaging, then confirm the formulation and any required evidence.

Enquire about this range ↗

Pressed and loose face powder

Coordinate pan or sifter, shade, texture, finish and net fill. Oil-control, wear and transfer claims need a defined method and matching evidence for the actual article.

Enquire about this range ↗

Face primer and setting spray

Discuss primer texture and setting-spray delivery, including dispenser and package compatibility. Confirm formula, net contents, use instructions and the evidence for any proposed wear claim.

Enquire about this range ↗

Lipstick and lip colour

Compare matte, liquid, pearl, metallic and other selected lip-colour directions. Develop shades, finish, applicator or bullet, net fill and tube or container as one article specification.

Enquire about this range ↗

Lip gloss and lip oil

Plan gloss appearance, colour and oil-format directions, including soft-brush applicators and combination products. Confirm the full formulation and avoid inferring ingredient benefits from a marketing name.

Enquire about this range ↗

Lip care, balm and lip liner

Develop balm, lip-care and liner enquiries with a defined application, texture and package. Cosmetic comfort or appearance requirements should remain separate from repair, treatment or sun-protection claims.

Enquire about this range ↗

Cleansers, cleansing foam and makeup remover

Compare foaming or mousse cleansers, brush-head pumps, tube cleansers, liquid makeup remover and wipes. Confirm the full ingredient declaration and pack format; cleansing is not evidence of disinfectant action.

Enquire about this range ↗

Creams, lotions, masks and cosmetic scrub

Scope skincare enquiries by application, texture, ingredients and packaging. Face masks are a skincare direction here; no medical-mask capability is inferred from the cosmetic catalogue.

Enquire about this range ↗

Essential oils, body lotion and serum directions

Define the intended cosmetic use, formulation, fragrance, fill and package for oil, lotion or serum enquiries. A category name does not establish a pure essential-oil composition or therapeutic effect.

Enquire about this range ↗

Makeup gift sets and coordinated ranges

Combine selected eye, face and lip components with a confirmed bill of materials and original artwork. Approve every formula, component and label as well as the overall presentation.

Enquire about this range ↗

Nail polish and nail-polish remover

Discuss nail-polish and remover development with the current formulation, container, use instructions and transport requirements confirmed for the selected article.

Enquire about this range ↗

Disinfectant product enquiries

Scope these separately by intended use, formulation, concentration, container and required product documents. Current availability and permitted claims need verification for the exact product and market; cosmetic cleanser references do not establish disinfectant efficacy.

What matters for this category

A better brief.
A clearer comparison.

Focus the sourcing conversation on the features, materials and production details that make a difference to your product range.

01

A coordinated beauty assortment

Compare eye, face, lip and skincare directions within one organised sourcing brief. Build complementary shades and packaging while keeping the formula, intended use and documents specific to each article.

02

Sample approval at product and package level

Evaluate the colour, texture, applicator and container together. A finished sample and written specification help resolve differences between an attractive reference image and a repeatable order.

03

Claims matched to evidence

Set the intended market and proposed wording early. Ingredient, wear, waterproof, vegan, cruelty-free, sensitive-skin and other claims need suitable support for the exact formula and package.

Branding, configuration & packaging

Make the product
fit your programme.

Bring artwork, reference samples and a target cost. The available process, minimum quantity, sample charges and development scope are reviewed for the chosen option.

01

Formula and shade development

Discuss OEM or ODM development for the selected cosmetic format. Supply the application, shade standards, texture and ingredient requirements; agree feasible modifications, sample work and supporting evidence before confirming a project.

02

Logo, container and artwork

Discuss unbranded supply or private-label packaging with original or licensed artwork. Specify the container, applicator, decoration, labels, unit carton, display and colour assortment. Existing branded designs and characters are not offered as freely reproducible assets.

03

Samples and commercial scope

Agree sample cost, formula or packaging revision scope and approval criteria. Confirm minimums by formula, shade and pack, plus current production and delivery timing, in a written quotation.

Quality & product evidence

Turn requirements
into checks.

Agree which product characteristics need testing and how the approved sample relates to the bulk order.

01

Formula and material controls

Request the full ingredient declaration, relevant specifications, batch identity and suitable quality records. Define microbiological, stability, compatibility and other testing needs for the selected formula and destination.

02

Colour, application and packaging

Approve shade standards, finish, texture, applicator performance, closure and actual fill. Check pans, pencils, sticks, pumps, tubes and palettes for the article-specific defects and transport stresses that matter to the order.

03

Finished goods and traceability

Agree inspection scope, defect limits, lot coding, label accuracy, packaging checks and retention samples. Request current evidence for any claimed system or certification instead of transferring an old supplier badge to the whole range.

Test capability is a starting point for the inspection plan. Request the method, applicable model and results needed for your order.

Documents matched to the order

Ask for evidence
that fits the product.

Specify the destination and intended product claims when enquiring. Request current formula- and article-specific documents; no blanket regulatory approval, certification, organic status or universal safety claim is made.

State the sales market, intended users and required files in your first enquiry. Current validity and scope are checked for the selected supplier and product; a category description does not certify every item.

Share your document requirements ↗
Formula, ingredients and product specification
Request the complete ingredient list, actual net contents, shade details, intended use, instructions, batch or formula identifier and approved package specification for each article.
Quality and market document set
Ask which stability, microbiological, compatibility, safety-assessment and other documents are available for the exact formulation and intended destination. Identify any gaps and required work before confirming claims or labels.
Artwork, packing and special-product records
Confirm rights to artwork, label content, lot coding, unit and display quantities, cartons and transport documentation. Nail-solvent or disinfectant enquiries require their own formulation, intended-use and document review, separate from makeup.
Built around how you sell

Different buyers.
Different specifications.

Your sales channel changes the assortment, packaging and quality priorities. Tell us the intended use as well as the product name.

01

Private-label beauty collections

Develop coordinated eye, face and lip ranges with an agreed shade story, finish, packaging and documentation plan. Confirm the custom-development scope for each formula and component.

02

Retail palettes, displays and gift sets

Compare palette colour counts, standalone items, tester arrangements, multiproduct sets and display presentations. Agree the bill of materials, artwork and packing rather than assuming a reference pack is the final order unit.

03

Skincare and cleansing assortments

Build cleanser, makeup-remover, cream, lotion, mask, scrub, oil or serum enquiries around the intended cosmetic use. Keep ingredient, claim and package requirements distinct from any disinfectant project.

From first brief to a defined order

Buyer questions

Before you send
your first enquiry.

Practical answers about this sourcing direction, customization and the reference options. Your agreed specification and written quotation determine the actual order.

Which product families can an enquiry cover?

Eye primer, brows, liner, eyeshadow, mascara, blush, bronzer, contour, concealer, foundation, highlighter, face powder, primer, setting spray, lip care, lip colour, skincare and makeup sets. Nail and disinfectant enquiries need a separate current-product check.

What palette colour counts are available as references?

Examples include 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 21 colours. Each is an article reference, not a promise that every finish or shade story can use every package. Confirm the selected layout and actual net fill.

Can I create a private-label collection?

Discuss OEM or ODM development for the chosen formats. Provide your shade, formula, package and market brief, then confirm feasible customisation, samples, order minimums and documents in writing.

Can I use an existing branded package or character design?

Use artwork you own or are licensed to use. Branded references help identify a format, but they do not give permission to reproduce logos, characters, trade dress or third-party designs.

Are full ingredient lists shown for every reference?

No. Request the complete ingredient declaration and exact formula identifier for the selected item. Generic fields such as chemical or mineral are not a substitute for a full ingredient list.

Does a palette’s weight equal its cosmetic net contents?

Not necessarily. Product, package, gross and shipping weights can differ, and some listings contain generic placeholders. Confirm the declared net fill and its basis instead of calculating it from logistics fields.

What does the 240 g cleansing reference describe?

It is the label on the inspected brush-head cleansing-foam example. It is not converted to volume and does not apply to other cleansers. Confirm the current article, formula and declared fill for quotation.

Can you source pencils for eyes, brows and lips?

Discuss the intended application and exact shade. Wood-cased and other pencil directions are relevant, but suitability must be confirmed for each formula and application area rather than assuming one pencil works everywhere.

Can products be called waterproof or long-lasting?

Only when the proposed wording is supported by appropriate evidence for the exact formula and use. A supplier title or reference image alone does not establish a tested duration or water-resistance result.

Are vegan, cruelty-free, halal or organic claims guaranteed?

No blanket claim is made. Define the required claim and destination, then verify current scope, formula, ingredients, supply-chain evidence and any relevant certificate for the selected article.

Are skincare face masks the same as protective masks?

No. The skincare mask direction concerns cosmetic products. Medical or protective-mask capability and documentation are not inferred from that category.

Can you handle disinfectant enquiries?

They can be scoped separately for a current-product and document check. Provide the intended use, active formulation or concentration target, pack and market. No current disinfectant specification, kill-rate or approval is established here.

Can a gift set combine different formats?

A reference set combines eye colour, highlighter powder, mascara and liner. Agree the exact components, fill, applicators, artwork and labels, and obtain the relevant documents for every formula in the set.

How are samples evaluated?

Agree shade standards, finish, texture, application, removal, actual fill, packaging and care or storage expectations. Record the approved sample and any required tests before confirming production.

What are MOQ, sample charges and lead times?

They depend on formula, shade count, package, artwork, tests and order quantity. Retail tiers and generic platform FAQs are not your trade terms; request an article-specific quotation and schedule.

What information helps obtain a useful quotation?

Send the product formats, target market, shade story, formula requirements, fill, applicators, package, artwork, proposed claims, required documents, quantities by shade and target delivery.

Who handles my enquiry?

Factory Sourcing Hub handles this enquiry as an independent sourcing and trading service. The product route, supplier suitability, sample scope and order responsibilities are agreed for the actual project.

How do I get a price and order minimum?

Send the product reference, quantities per variation, customization and packaging. Prices, minimums, sample charges and delivery dates are confirmed in a current quotation; the page is not a live inventory or price feed.

Can I discuss samples and inspection before ordering?
