03 / Private-label development

Start with your brief.
Shape the right product.

OEM enquiries can begin with a catalogue model. Projects needing a new shape, material or mechanism require a separate feasibility, tooling and sample review.

Transparent pen bodies with a range of colour accents
A01 reference appearance. Colour choices and brand marking are confirmed during sampling.
01

Brand marking & colour

Ask about logo placement, marking method, print area, artwork, colour matching and the minimum quantity for each variation.

02

Materials & writing configuration

Specify body material, tip size, refill, ink colour, writing feel and intended use. Confirm compatibility through samples rather than appearance alone.

03

Retail, school & gift packaging

Discuss single-piece packs, sets, colour boxes, barcodes, instruction inserts and carton requirements. Packing format affects the quotation and order minimum.

04

Design, prototypes & tooling

Supply options in this category include industrial, graphic, structural and material-application design, prototyping and mould development. Confirm project scope, development fees, ownership and approval stages before work begins.

04 / Quality & testing

Put the specification
to the test.

A clear inspection plan connects a product sample with the bulk order. Ask for tests that match the material, user and sales market.

Available manufacturing routes list incoming-material checks, sample approval, in-process inspection, finished-product inspection, packaging checks and storage controls. The inspection plan and acceptance criteria must be agreed for your chosen supplier.

These equipment examples show testing capabilities to discuss for your project. Request results, methods and reports that match the selected model and sales market.

05 / Documentation

Ask for the evidence
your market needs.

A factory system, a supply-chain assessment and a product test report answer different questions. Match each document to your actual order.

Factory systems

Management & process

Ask about current quality, environmental and occupational health and safety documentation.

  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 records where relevant
  • Certificate scope, production site and validity
  • Quality procedures and recent inspection records
Materials & supply chain

Responsible sourcing

For applicable products, request material traceability and the supplier assessment documents required by your programme.

  • FSC, PEFC, GRS or DDS-related records as applicable
  • BSCI, Sedex, WCA or ICTI assessment records when required
  • Relevant SCAN, FCCA or SQP records for specific buyer programmes
Product & market

Safety & performance

Selected product listings refer to ASTM and EN 71. Confirm the exact standard, test scope and applicable model.

  • Complete reports rather than certification logos
  • Material, ink and target-user requirements
  • Independent inspection or testing arrangements

Include your destination market in the first enquiry. Tell us the product category, age group and required standards so the document request can be matched to the right model. Documents are reviewed for relevance and current validity; this page does not certify products.

Share your requirements
06 / Recycled-material options

Material choices
for your product brief.

Recycled content is a product-specific specification. Request evidence for the material, percentage and calculation basis you intend to promote.

Bottle-recycled options

RPET

A01 lists RPET as its material. Confirm the recycled component, percentage, traceability and suitability for the intended application.

Metal-body options

Recycled aluminium

A02 offers a silver-coloured body with colour accents. Any recycled-content percentage needs supporting material documentation.

Plastic-body options

Recycled plastic

A04 provides a lighter-weight reference pen. Confirm polymer type, source of recycled material and the actual supplied configuration.

Further enquiries

PLA & recycled PP

Ask about additional material options. PLA is not a blanket claim of compostability, and recycled packaging does not prove whole-product recycled content.

07 / Beyond catalogue selection

When your project
needs more detail.

For technical or larger assortment enquiries, request evidence for the production route rather than relying on headline factory figures.

A range of coloured pen options displayed on a white background
Additional material and colour directions can be discussed for a specific brief.
01

Pen engineering

Discuss tip-and-ink matching, writing-component testing, precision moulding and machining. Quick-drying ink requirements should be tied to a selected model and test conditions.

02

Development resources

Ask for relevant design-centre credentials, prototype examples, tooling capabilities and project-specific intellectual-property information.

03

Production & supply planning

Discuss batch quantities, line setup, flexible manufacturing, available capacity, production location and origin documentation for the actual order.

04

Export & channel requirements

Retail, distributor, school and gift programmes have different packaging and documentation needs. Request a relevant current catalogue and comparable project information.

Smart pens & AI-enabled gifts

Looking beyond traditional stationery? Ask about a separate sourcing brief for smart pens and AI-enabled hardware. Functions, software, certification, order minimums and after-sales terms differ from conventional writing instruments.

Smart pens

Translation, recording, transcription, writing and digital-interaction functions vary by model. Confirm languages, connectivity, subscriptions and sample performance.

Wearable & audio devices

Glasses, watches and earphones can be discussed against a hardware and software specification, including battery, app and wireless requirements.

Interactive plush products

Discuss form, fabric, appearance, interactive functions, packaging and IP permissions, with product-safety requirements for the target user.

Development enquiries may cover hardware configuration, structure, tooling, brand marking, packaging, UI, app integration and firmware support. Confirm engineering fees, cloud and licence costs, maintenance periods, privacy requirements and ownership before development. Request model-specific CE-related, RoHS, FCC, TELEC, SRRC or other applicable files rather than assuming a whole range is approved.

Warranty, returns, response times and repair responsibilities must be confirmed for the B2B contract. Consumer-facing policies are not automatically the terms of a private-label order.

Discuss a smart-product brief ↗
Sample before you scale

Define what a
good sample means.

Use samples to resolve the product, branding and pack details that affect a bulk order. Start with the level of development your project needs.

01 / PRODUCT SELECTION

Evaluate a reference model

Compare the material, weight, grip, mechanism and writing configuration before choosing a direction.

  • Identify A01–A04 or send your reference.
  • Specify ink colour, tip size and intended users.
  • Ask for sample cost, shipping and timing.
Discuss reference samples ↗
02 / BRAND & PACK APPROVAL

Review a customized sample

Check how your artwork and packaging work on the selected product before approving production.

  • Confirm logo placement, size and colour.
  • Review body finish, print quality and rub resistance.
  • Approve pack artwork, barcode and item count.
Plan a branded sample ↗
03 / NEW DEVELOPMENT

Scope a prototype project

A new shape, mechanism or material needs a separate feasibility review, rather than a catalogue-model quotation.

  • Provide drawings, dimensions and functional needs.
  • Agree development fees and revision stages.
  • Define tooling ownership and the approval sample.
Discuss product development ↗

Agree the sample reference, dimensional tolerance, writing-test method, cosmetic limits and any required inspection plan in writing. An approved sample should identify which configuration the production order must follow.

Plan the complete order

From a single pen
to a sellable pack.

The unit price is only one part of the brief. Set the packing, quantity splits and delivery basis so quotations can be compared consistently.

Packaging & assortment

Individual units
A01, A02 and A04 list one pen per OPP bag. Ask about alternative pack materials and how the change affects cost and minimums.
Sets & gift formats
A03 is a six-colour, six-piece reference set. Discuss the selected colours, pack material, artwork and the number of sets required.
Retail information
Provide barcode files, item names, pack copy, inserts, warnings and language requirements for review.
Shipping cartons
Confirm pieces or sets per inner and outer carton, carton dimensions, shipment marks and verified gross and net weights.

Quotation & delivery

Quantity splits
State the quantity per model, body colour, ink colour and pack version. Ask how minimums apply to each variation.
Cost breakdown
Request separate lines for products, logo work, packaging, samples, tooling, testing and other agreed project services.
Delivery basis
Confirm the named location, trade term, shipping method and allocation of freight and clearance responsibilities in the written offer.
Order protection
Agree payment milestones, quote validity, sample approval, inspection, defect remedies and claim deadlines before placing the order.

09 / Buyer questions

Your stationery
sourcing questions.

These answers explain the sourcing process and the reference product options. Your written quotation and agreed specification determine the actual order.

Ask another question ↗
Are you a factory or a trading service?

This page represents an independent trading and sourcing service. Enquiries come to one trading contact, who discusses your requirements and matches suitable supply options. Manufacturing capability and compliance documentation are checked for the supplier and model selected for the project.

What stationery can I enquire about?

You can enquire about ballpoint, gel, roller and metal pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, school and office stationery, notebooks, art and craft supplies, and coordinated gift assortments. Tell us your target market, sales channel and product specification.

Can I request my own logo or custom packaging?

Yes, you can submit an OEM or private-label enquiry. Include your artwork, marking position, colours, packaging format and quantity. The supported process, sample requirements, minimum quantity and price must be confirmed for the chosen model.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The four reference options on this page list a minimum order quantity of 5,000 pieces. This is a listing reference, not a final offer. Minimums may depend on the model, colour split, packaging and customization. Send your expected quantity for confirmation.

Can I get samples before placing an order?

The selected conventional product listings indicate sample support. Ask whether a stock sample or a customized sample is appropriate, and confirm cost, shipping, timing and the approval standard before proceeding.

How much do custom pens cost?

A current price requires a quotation. Product configuration, material, quantity, marking, packaging, testing and trade terms affect the price. Send a specification and target quantity; reference photos alone may not define a comparable product.

How long do sampling and production take?

There is no fixed lead time on this page. Timing depends on the selected model, quantity, customization, tooling, sample revisions and production schedule. State your required delivery date and request a confirmed schedule in the quotation.

Are the products certified for my market?

Certification is not assumed for every product. Selected listings refer to ASTM and EN 71, while other documents relate to factory management or specific materials. Request complete, current files that match the model and the requirements of your sales market.

How do I verify recycled-material claims?

Confirm the polymer or metal, recycled component, recycled-content percentage and calculation basis. Request traceability or applicable material documentation. A recycled component or package does not establish the recycled content of the whole product.

Can I request a new pen design or mould?

You can enquire about design, prototyping and tooling. Provide dimensions, drawings, function requirements and target cost. Feasibility, development charges, minimum quantities, sample approvals, confidentiality and tooling ownership need a written agreement.

Can I source smart pens or AI-enabled gifts?

A separate brief can cover smart pens, glasses, watches, earphones or interactive plush products. Confirm model-specific functions, languages, connectivity, subscriptions, software support, safety documentation and B2B after-sales terms. Conventional pen order conditions do not automatically apply.

What should I include in an enquiry?

Include product type or reference option, estimated quantity, sales market, material, dimensions, ink or colour requirements, logo, packaging, target budget and timing. Add required tests or reports and attach reference pictures or specifications to your email.

What payment, shipping and warranty terms apply?

These are agreed for the particular order. Request the quotation currency and validity, payment schedule, trade terms, inspection responsibilities, shipping plan, warranty or defect remedy, claim period and allocation of costs. No universal warranty or shipping promise is made on this page.

Can I compare several pen models in one enquiry?

Yes. Choose a main product and tick any additional reference options in the optional form details. State the quantity, body colour, ink and packaging for each model. The listed 5,000-piece reference minimum must be reconfirmed for each configuration.

What artwork should I send for a logo sample?

Send your logo file, intended marking position, approximate dimensions and colour references. Tell us if you also need packaging artwork or barcode placement. The marking process and final proof are agreed for the selected product.

Can I request retail packaging or a gift set?

You can enquire about individual packaging, coordinated sets, labels, barcodes and gift formats. Describe the product mix and number of units per pack. Pack materials, artwork, minimum quantities and costs require project-specific confirmation.

How do we approve a sample for a repeat order?

Identify the approved sample and specification version. Record materials, dimensions, ink, mechanism, appearance, logo and packaging details, together with the agreed test and inspection criteria. Confirm whether any component changes need new approval before a reorder.

Where will my enquiry go?

Submit the form to send your requirements directly to our enquiry service for delivery to kunhuow@gmail.com. Your page reference and project details are included. Email attachments separately with your enquiry reference.
