Nylon, Polyester, Coated, Printed & Functional Fabric Sourcing

Source nylon and polyester fabric requests, coating and print development, light downwear-shell references, casualwear and womenswear directions, outdoor or marine-cover materials and selected temperature-responsive or conductive textile enquiries.

  • Match the fabric base and finish to the garment, cover or technical application.
  • Compare lightweight grids, printed surfaces and selected functional-development directions.
  • Agree the physical sample, performance methods, current documents and order terms before commitment.

Manufacturing, product documents and order conditions depend on the model and supply route selected for your project.

These directions and exhibition references support a technical enquiry; they are not a list of ready-stock articles. The exact supplying route, present construction, availability and performance evidence require confirmation. We coordinate independent fabric sourcing and development without transferring a source enterprise’s certifications or brand relationships.

What matters for this category

A better brief.
A clearer comparison.

Focus the sourcing conversation on the features, materials and production details that make a difference to your product range.

01

Choose a use-specific starting point

A downwear shell, fashion cloth, boat cover and conductive textile need different selection criteria. Build the brief around the finished product and exposure.

02

Evaluate effects on the actual base

Approve colour, print, coating hand or temperature response on the selected cloth rather than treating the finish as interchangeable across substrates.

03

Turn requirements into sample decisions

Identify the expected appearance, comfort, strength, weathering or electrical criteria and the documents needed to approve a production quotation.

Branding, configuration & packaging

Make the product
fit your programme.

Bring artwork, reference samples and a target cost. The available process, minimum quantity, sample charges and development scope are reviewed for the chosen option.

01

Composition, surface and artwork

Share the fibre direction, swatch, weave or grid, colour reference, artwork and desired hand. Exact blend, count, mass and finished width must be specified.

02

Functional development brief

State the intended temperature response, UV exposure, water or moisture behaviour, stretch, antistatic target and test conditions. Feasibility and measured performance depend on the selected construction.

03

Sampling and shipment presentation

Agree swatch, trial yardage or garment-test needs, shade approval, roll format, protective packing, batch labels and shipment requirements through the quotation.

Quality & product evidence

Turn requirements
into checks.

Agree which product characteristics need testing and how the approved sample relates to the bulk order.

01

Base-cloth and sewing checks

Assess composition, mass, usable width, weave or density, shade, defects, seam behaviour and dimensional change on an approved construction.

02

Finish and durability validation

Choose the relevant wash, abrasion, tear, down-leakage, weathering, temperature-response or electrical-resistance method and acceptance limit.

03

Current document review

Check the exact material and legal supplying scope behind any recycled-content, special-use or certification request before using the claim commercially.

Test capability is a starting point for the inspection plan. Request the method, applicable model and results needed for your order.

Documents matched to the order

Ask for evidence
that fits the product.

Ask for documents tied to the exact current construction and intended application.

State the sales market, intended users and required files in your first enquiry. Current validity and scope are checked for the selected supplier and product; a category description does not certify every item.

Share your document requirements ↗
Fabric and sample specification
Record fibre, construction, units, usable width, colour or artwork, finishing route and the retained approval sample.
Performance and material traceability
Request current relevant test reports and material-chain documents. A historical register or a demonstration does not establish current certification or test compliance.
Order, inspection and packing record
Confirm minimum quantity per colour, sample costs, development stages, timing, inspection criteria, roll lengths, labels and export documentation in the quotation.
Built around how you sell

Buyer questions

Before you send
your first enquiry.

Practical answers about this sourcing direction, customization and the reference options. Your agreed specification and written quotation determine the actual order.

Which fabric directions can I enquire about?

Nylon, polyester, coated and printed cloth are core directions. We can also assess casualwear, womenswear, lightweight shells, outdoor covers and selected functional-development briefs.

Is the light nylon reference a 7 gsm fabric?

No. The reference is designated 7D, which is a yarn-density designation rather than fabric area mass. The exact yarn, finished mass and construction must be confirmed.

Can a temperature-changing textile be requested?

Yes. Share the required response range, base colour and application. A reported 28 °C demonstration provides a reference; the current sample and its tolerances need approval.

Can outdoor or marine-cover performance be guaranteed from a family name?

Performance depends on the precise material and finish. We agree the intended exposure, test methods, durability and acceptance criteria before using any claim.

Are conductive textile requests suitable for medical or protective products?

They require a separate review of composition, electrical performance, laundering durability and relevant intended-use requirements. A conductive-yarn reference alone does not establish medical or protective approval.

Can printed artwork and coated surfaces be developed?

We can coordinate evaluation of a defined base, print or coating brief. Send artwork, repeat, colour standard, finish target and intended order quantity.

Are current recycled-content certifications included?

They must be checked for the exact supplying scope and order. We request current traceability and transaction documents rather than relying on an expired listing or a general label.

What are the MOQ, sampling charges and production lead time?

These remain quotation-specific. Send quantity per colour, construction, finish, sample requirement, tests and packing needs so present minimums, charges and timing can be confirmed.

Who handles my enquiry?

Factory Sourcing Hub handles this enquiry as an independent sourcing and trading service. The product route, supplier suitability, sample scope and order responsibilities are agreed for the actual project.

How do I get a price and order minimum?

Send the product reference, quantities per variation, customization and packaging. Prices, minimums, sample charges and delivery dates are confirmed in a current quotation; the page is not a live inventory or price feed.

Can I discuss samples and inspection before ordering?

Yes. State whether you need a reference sample, a customized sample or development work. Agree the sample cost and shipping, approval specification, inspection plan and remedy for non-conforming goods before the bulk order.

What should I attach to my email?

Reference images, drawings, logo artwork and a product list are useful. Include quantities, the intended users and sales market, packaging, required documents and timing. After submitting the form, email attachments to kunhuow@gmail.com with your enquiry reference.
